Over Head Cranes

Over head cranes are the perfect crane in situations where a large area needs to be covered and/or the loads are generally heavy (1 tonne plus) and large.

Over head cranes consist of three main components. The rails and the crane bridge, which runs on the rails. This allows the crane to travel  "down shop" A hoist fitted with a beam trolley then runs along the crane bridge giving "cross travel" The hoist provided lift and lower functions. As most commercial buildings are rectangular, overhead cranes cover the biggest area.

Common Use: Work shops, large factories, steel works, foundry's, engineering shops.

Automation Options: Manual or powered, radio control.

Control Options: Manual and/or 48v low voltage pendant.

Finish Options: Yellow top coat, Galvanised, Polish (stainless steel cranes only)
