Jib Cranes

Jib cranes are the perfect crane in situations where the same type of load is to be moved within a fixed area repeatedly. Or in a maintenance set up where a part needs regular removal. They can also prove very versatile in a CNC station loading/unloading situation, often covering two or more machines.

Jib cranes operate by the arm rotating in an arc around the column. A hoist running on a beam trolley completes the ability to pick up and place a load anywhere within the operating area.

Load Capacities: 50KG - 5000KG

Common Use: Repetitive pick and place, Maintenance situations, Production loading.

Automation Options: Powered hoist, powered beam trolley, powered slew.

Control Options: Manual, 48v low voltage pendant.

Finish Options: Yellow top coat, Galvanised, Polish (stainless steel cranes only)

Documentation: Operator Manual, CE Certificate of Conformity, Report of Thorough Examination.

Over Head Cranes

Over head cranes are the perfect crane in situations where a large area needs to be covered and/or the loads are generally heavy (1 tonne plus) and large.

Over head cranes consist of three main components. The rails and the crane bridge, which runs on the rails. This allows the crane to travel  "down shop" A hoist fitted with a beam trolley then runs along the crane bridge giving "cross travel" The hoist provided lift and lower functions.

As most commercial buildings are square or oblong, overhead cranes cover the biggest area.

Load Capacities: 250KG - 50,000KG +

Common Use: Work shops, large factories, steel works, foundry's, engineering shops.

Automation Options: Manual or powered

Control Options: Manual and/or 48v low voltage pendant.

Finish Options: Yellow top coat, Galvanised, Polish (stainless steel cranes only)

Documentation: Operator Manual, CE Certificate of Conformity, Report of Thorough Examination.

Fixed Gantries

Fixed Gantry cranes are the perfect crane in situations where a load needs  to be moved in a single axis once lifted. The runway beam which the hoist runs can be formed into bends to allow the hoist to go around corners.

Load Capacities: 250KG - 5,000KG +

Common Use: Work shops, large factories, machine loading/unloading, production line.

Automation Options: Manual or powered

Control Options: Manual and/or 48v low voltage pendant.

Finish Options: Yellow top coat, Galvanised, Polish (stainless steel cranes only)

Documentation: Operator Manual, CE Certificate of Conformity, Report of Thorough Examination.
