Midland Lifting Solutions Ltd use computer aided design software to design all bespoke lifting solutions and cranes. This enables fast and effective progression from concept to approval drawings, 3D models and full engineering drawings prior to manufacture.

 

All designs comply with the latest British Standards for lifting equipment, currently BS EN 13001-2:2004 and are designed to the agreed safe working load (SWL) or working load limit (WLL). where applicable a 25% proof load is built in to the safety factors. The computer software allows quick stress calculation and 3D modelling to show stress points in the design.

In addition to our own work we can turn your sketches into 3D CAD Models and run FEA analysis on your project, produce drawings and electronic files for laser cutters and machinists.
